I AM CREATING COSMIC TERROR FOR NBBC'S CTHULHU CANOE HAUNTED PADDLE

This fall has been full of many wonderful things so far, and one of them is the Cthulhu Canoe Haunted Paddle coming up at the North Brooklyn Boat Club on Saturday October 28th.  I'm the director and mask-making/tentacle designer for the event, and so far it's been a pretty wonderful community art-making experience.  Each Sunday, a different team of NBBC volunteers has shown up at the boat club in Greenpoint to make a variety of masks for the fish-faced cultists that will be creeping around Dutch Kills on the 28th.

 Summer is upon us and The Reverse Engineers are celebrating by playing the Summer Solstice Party at the North Brooklyn Boat Club!

There will be a BONFIRE next to the waters of Newtown Creek!

There will be drinks and grilling!

There will be SIX BANDS playing atop shipping containers under the Pulaski Bridge! 

This is an outdoor Brooklyn party experience like no other!

BLACKED OUT in Sanguine Theatre Company's Project Playwright Festival

2017 has been frenetic so far, with exciting projects on all fronts: music, teaching, activism, and theater.  I'm very grateful to Sanguine Theater Company for selecting my play, Blacked Out, as one of four finalists in their Project Playwright competition.

 I got to work with the amazing TJ Walker on staging a reading of an excerpt from the play (part of the Blackout77 outage-act); it was performed at Soho Playhouse on January 16th (MLK Day!).
