I AM CREATING COSMIC TERROR FOR NBBC'S CTHULHU CANOE HAUNTED PADDLE

This fall has been full of many wonderful things so far, and one of them is the Cthulhu Canoe Haunted Paddle coming up at the North Brooklyn Boat Club on Saturday October 28th.  I'm the director and mask-making/tentacle designer for the event, and so far it's been a pretty wonderful community art-making experience.  Each Sunday, a different team of NBBC volunteers has shown up at the boat club in Greenpoint to make a variety of masks for the fish-faced cultists that will be creeping around Dutch Kills on the 28th.
Here are some of the terrifying creatures in progress...

Do not mess with this guy.

Tentacles!

Applying paper mache for hours and hours...I am one with the glue.

Iä! Iä! Cthulhu Canoe!
There are only a few tickets left: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/north-brooklyn-boat-club-presents-cthulhu-canoe-haunted-boat-tours-tickets-38026391962

But there will also be a fire, drinks, and food going all night, so come celebrate with us the rising of the Ancient Ones and the obliteration of humanity!  Happy Halloween!
